I can just hear the bear telling the same story from his POV to his friends. “He popped the safety on his .338 - as I woofed twice and slapped my jaws shut. The wind shifted and he decided to leave. I walked into the bushes and dropped a major load.”
That was a real bear. The articulation of the hips eliminates it being a human in a costume.
Some Indian tribe had a name for black bears. It was “The bear that walks like a man”
A friend of mine shot one during deer and bear season. He said after he skinned it, it looked exactly like a skinned man laying there.
