I have always wondered why at least one of his different coaches didn't make his smoother and easier, but I guess it's hard to get off the distance treadmill once you are on it. He might lose a little distance (tho probably not) and his drives would be more accurate, but it is hard to change old habits, especially when it's your bread and butter.
Yea..I don't think he will. Even when he was healthy, his Ryder Cup record was not outstanding. I think his presence hurts the camaraderie (thank goodness for spell check) of the team.
At this point, I just hope Tiger can get healthy enough to practice and play... enough to win some tourneys again in the future.
LOL Yes... Bill Clinton was BOON for FR! :-) congrats for surviving here this long. It requires a bit of skill.
Since I work in sales, I often get chances to play on some pretty nice golf courses. I’ve played Brookline, and Drub’s Dread, Redstone (in Houston) several times. I’ve played courses in Tokyo, Korea, Manila, Germany, even in Buenos Aires.
Pebble was, by far my favorite. I shot an 84 there. I birdied 6, made a 30’ putt for par on 7, and hit the BEST 170 yard 6 Iron of my life on 8, over the canyon, for a tap-in birdie.
Pebble was also the MOST EXPENSIVE round of golf I ever played... by far! I played ON my 25th wedding anniversary. The wifey arranged it. We reserved a room there (Major $$$), got upgraded to the La Paloma suite (where the Chairman of ATT stays during the Pro-Am)..and, of course... for being such a DOLL, I had to buy wifey a nice diamond ring, which I gave to her on the tee of #8, at the exact time of our anniversary.
Please God: NEVER let me have to pay that much for a round of golf again!
Now... I just have St. Andrews and Augusta on the bucket list. Augusta’s not looking likely.. but, NOT impossible. I’m working a couple of possible angles. :-)
