..all of a sudden, the entireside of this huge cliff opens up..and two fighters roll out and take off...I think they were Hawker Hunters..unreal..

And all this time we thought the cuckoo clocks were quaint and goofy, little realizing that they were proof of concept protypes. Clever those clockmakers nibbling on their chocolates and yodeling all the time.

Exactly. Distributed government, not a powerful central government. A lot of people haven’t looked into that.

They hide NAZI loot for decades and decades after the war was over.

Some rather important people did. The Founders knew that even then the Swiss had the oldest pluralistic government on earth.

Hard not to think of this scene from “The Third Man” whenever Switzerland is mentioned...

They are very SELECTIVE when it comes to who can be a permanent resident...

That's not entirely true.IIRC it wasn't *too* long ago that they signed an agreement with the European Union to participate in the EU's "freedom of movement" policies. Those policies allow a citizen of any signatory country (EU nations,Switzerland,Iceland and Norway,IIRC) to enter, reside in and work in any other signatory country about as easily as US citizens can move from Maine to Hawaii.

Oh that isn’t going to happen because most of the NWO have homes there, and do you ever remember a war in the last 100 years in Switzerland? No, they don’t start wars in their own back yard.

The relative autonomy of Swill cantons has held since roughly 1500.

“Given what has happened in Iraq, I think about the lost opportunity, at least temporarily, to follow the Swiss model — and how it could have led to peaceful coexistence among the rival groups and much greater prosperity for all.”

That’s why these people need to be PURGED from the State Department. To make it VERY SIMPLE for people, if a country (or region) does not have a long history of supporting Democracy, this coexistence crap will fail the MOMENT one side thinks it’s getting screwed over.

CLASSIC CASE - Yugoslavia - a country that was JUST FINE (in fact, it was an Olympic country), when ruled by dictators was cohesive and had a great showing. Then FREEDOM came, and then the resentment, and then the wars, and then the Ethnic Cleansing of Christians (in the end).
