As we await word that Quinn and Rose are returning soon, - and it looks like something is in the works - our friendly group of dedicated FReeper Q&R fans will continue to meet in our usual spot as we always have! Hi and thank you.

We are looking at the SimpliSafe system (there is a mid level system approx $600 plus around $20 per month monitoring). We also have to buy (immediately) a new back door (he kicked in our existing one). We are going for that tonight (I hope). Once we can get past those items, there is a local gun club where PaDad and I (well mostly me because he used to hunt) can get some gun training. I want to feel comfortable firing a hand gun before I start looking to buy one. :-/

Another little vent of mine. Our local community newspaper does a Police Blotter report that tells us who/what was stolen from WalMart/Kohls/Target/GiantEagle; DUIs; traffic stops w/drug paraphernalia etc; BUT NO MENTIONS of local break ins. It’s like break ins DONT happen here...but they do. And in fairly high numbers from what I’ve learned in the past 48 hours. Those stats (publish the names of the housing plans where the break ins occur w/way of entry) MEAN something to citizens.

I’ve looked online at the SimpliSafe wireless system. I want to read more about both types (and then sign up by the weekend).

Yesterday my kids even noticed the unmarked car, so at least my neighborhood has garnered some police attention.

We have to replace the back door first (it was kicked in). The best way I can summarize is they take your good items (so you lose real and sentimental value of the items); then you have to pay to fix their damage; then you have to pay to keep them from coming back. The irony is not lost upon me :-(

At least it wasn’t a home invasion. You are still alive and that’s most important.
Had my home broken into while my bed ridden mother was on the phone to my brother....they got into her bedroom and saw she was on the phone and hauled ass out of there. These bastards should rot in hell for doing this. I trust God will handle this.

Our daughter lives near the hospital and drugs are all over in Greensburg..glad to hear you are doing ok.

Happy Anniversary..we are in your area year wise but can't remember exactly..we are fighting depression..Jeep is costing us big time..over $300 this month and it is making noise..could be the altinator or air compressor we just replaced or maybe water pump..sigh going to garage here shortly.
Had to change banks because of issues to the other bank we used a little mostly to cash paychecks that would bounce sometimes. We had let our son use the card to get dish and he just cancelled it and we went overdraft with the $400 they charged him. Thank goodness at the end of the week a great pay for me They gave us 253 back so he owes us the rest. Cancelled the bank and are getting another in 7to10 days so we are behind in some bills Verizon won't take our check..etc..sigh
