If Ebola were airborne (strict sense) every passenger on Patrick Sawyer's flight to Lagos would be dead or dying. This does not appear to be the case.

But I agree that we are seeing unusual things. The transcutaneous ID90 must be quite low.

How old was the airliner and what was the service like on it’s cabin air system? I have worked on a number of aircraft and some are maintained very well and some not to much. I think also there is a difference between airborne like the flue and spiting up blood all over the place. Plus some people go 21 days before they show signs of sickness. Do I think our Government is telling us the truth? NO and HELL NO!

Agreed and a huge chunk of West Africa would already be dead if the virus were truly airborne. But as someone else commented, it would appear to have airborne tendencies, or a greater facility for ambient transmission than your standard direct transmission type virus.
