Reclining one’s seat on a daytime flight of less than 6 hrs duration is rude. Hope the lady gets criminally charged for assaulting the guy.

If that’s the case, then why is reclining on a 7 hour flight any less rude?
I recline on 45 min flights for some fast shuteye usually. I don’t have a problem with others doing that too, it’s expected. It’s like another poster said... your space begins after my seat is fully reclined.
My seat goes back when the person in front me reclines. There is nothing rude about it.
I’ve never been on a flight for more than 5 hours, and I usually take a nap. I’ve always revlined my seat. I don’t think it’s rude at all.
Did she pay $xxxx for a reclining seat?
If the guy needed more space, he could have paid for a seat with more room instead of taking space the woman paid for.
