Tuesday is a great day in the news cycle.
Sharpton lives in a very upscale neighborhood.
I’m of two minds about the date.
Does ISIS attack on 9/11, thus cementing that date as a “high holy day” for the unholy Mohammedans? We already fear and loathe that date, so an attack would forever make it an official day of carnage.
Or do they attack on a different date, when all their preparations come together, thus creating a new “unholy” day for the vile Sons of Saladin? Will we someday have a 9/11, a 9/28, a 10/18 and a 5/20?
Either way, everyone able to carry concealed should do so at all times. We are at war.
I do—by the 11th I hope to have enough firewood in that it could get me through the winter if need be. Before the snow flies, I want a year and a half’s worth that could be stretched to two in a pinch. That is more important here than electricity.
If ‘zombies’ smell your woodsmoke, same thing.
So fire up your generator, lock and load.
Surviving won’t be for the timid.

Someone on TV said ISIS wants their own date, & may be considering Sept. 10th or 12th.
Millions of Americans are not even ‘tuned in’ to what’s going on. Believe it.
After the gas lines in the 1980’s, we make it a habit to fill up at the half-way point. Besides possible non-delivery of gasoline, the pumps won’t work when electricity goes out, whatever the event that causes it.

Convert you gas powered generator to propane.
I have propane tanks that have been filled for 20 years, still good. Gasoline goes bad even with Sta-Bil added.
Propane is sitting & ready forever.
In Canada that’s a very good thing!
I’m in New England, sans fireplace, but where a generator tends to come in very handy indeed.
I’m going with the second Tuesday after 9/11 after everyone has breathed a sigh of relief and our defenses are down.
Seriously? You don't know what prepping anyone could do? You have car insurance, right? House insurance? Health insurance? Then why don't you think you need daily living insurance? That's all prepping is. Prepping doesn't have to be an EMP, a terrorist strike or an invasion that wipes out the entire nation. Most likely it would be a flood, tornado, a snow storm or a utility outage just in your neighborhood. At the very least, have a month's supply of food and water stored for your family and a bit more to stave off the neighbors. It doesn't have to be the dehydrated or freeze dried stuff but the normal canned goods that are found in your panty right now. Add a few more cans of tuna, chili, veggies, fruit, crackers, bottled water, etc. and you're set for 90% of what is likely to come your way. Done and done.
