I can neither confirm nor deny the presence of heck powers of combustion at a stand off range in or around my vicinity.

Idea for a movie or K-drama or something

.....

Tit for Tat (needs better title)

Relaxing on the beach of Nauru, what little nice beach there was, the man spent time sunning and flirting with the chubby local girls. He also wondered how can a country that was dirt poor be all fat? He was hiding, his life was over and this was all borrowed time until an extremely wealthy man tracked him down, which would really be the end of his days. He decided he had spent too long on the tiny island with the ruined interior - there was no place to hide here once you were found. So he booked passage on a trawler to another Pacific island nation and as they were leaving he could see a very large yacht, with a helicopter on a pad at the back. It could be them, he thought, this was scary.

Tuvalu had almost as few people as Nauru but it was scattered on several islands. He tried to get off the island but a storm cut off all boat traffic and there was no airport. So he found a very small island and paid a small family to let him stay for a while. $200 wasn’t much money in Korea but it went far here.

((This is where I envision a scene of him being chased from one side of this island to the other, even through a house.... all in a single take))

He was caught. Brought to the yacht. The sickly wealthy man had brought the doctors he needed. Take the kidneys, he ordered. Throw the rest to the sharks. They both had a very rare blood type and there was literally no other option that would keep the rich old man alive. The main character had been paid a million for a kidney but fled when he discovered they were going to take both of them.

Bobbing in the water, bleeding profusely he prepared his mind for death. Even if he washed up on a shore or was rescued somehow, he would die within days without a kidney. A storm... no a helicopter was hovering overhead.... a man was being lowered with a basket.... NAVY its tail said... he passed out...

He woke up to the hum of a ships engine, a large ship. He could barely see anything but it looked like a hospital. Voices speaking... English? Something was connected to his arm.... he passed out again....

When he finally came to his senses he found out he had been rescued. He was aboard a US Navy ship that had a full medical hospital with 2 real operating rooms. He was alive, he wouldn’t die yet. He might even live for 4 or 5 years on dialysis. He might even live long enough to exact revenge....
