A game-day banner hung over the entrance of an LSU fraternity house Saturday mocked the NFL's first openly gay player, Michael Sam, according to The Daily Reveille.
The message, penned in black ink on what appeared to be a white sheet at the Delta Kappa Epsilon house, was captured in photos by fans and posted on social media, LSU's student newspaper reported. A Daily Reveille staffer captured a photo of the sign; the banner read, "Michael isn't the Only Sam Getting the D Tonight."
LSU defeated Sam Houston State University 56-0 on Saturday in Baton Rouge in its first home game of the season.
The university asked the fraternity on Saturday to "remove the offensive banner," LSU Media Relations Director Ernie Ballard said in an email to NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune.

This is another odd phenomenon on the left: taking ‘offense’ on behalf of others who may not even know, care or object to the thought or deed. PC, thoughtcrime, etc.
What if Sam saw humor in it and even approved? Do the thought police still prosecute if the target is OK with it?
They weren’t mocking Michael Sam, they were mocking Sam Houston State University.
So what we have here is a full blown story about a frat house using sexual humor to mock an opposing school’s team.
A total, non-story.
And what is the point, that we aren’t supposed to mention that homosexual men have sex with other men?
and Nebraska had a tough time beating McNeese State, which is an other Louisiana school that has Div. 1 teams.

This seems to be common for big time programs. The big program gets an easy warm up win. The weaker program, in return for a thrashing, gets ticket and television revenue they would never see otherwise plus the fans get to see a big name school play. It's actually not a bad deal for the weak football team unless they are so outmatched that they have lots of injuries.
Sam is not a person to the left, he is a tool to further the cause. He will be treated well while he is still useful and discarded or even vilified when he is not. If Sam ever tried to put a stop to the leftist bile spewed in his name they would turn on him in a heartbeat.

It used to be called sodomy - now it's just Gay Love. So when you see/hear a news report that some woman or child was sodomized, insist that the reporting agency not use the hateful word but supplant it with gay loved, e.g., "Last night a woman was brutally beaten and gay loved in a parking lot."
