Groom organises Manchester United wedding, bride is definitely not happy

Ever dreamed of having a wedding based around your favourite football team? No? Well this Manchester United fan did.

And this week he made his dream come true.

The supporter, based in Kenya, went to great lengths to organise a United themed wedding for him and his bride to enjoy, but on the basis of these photos, it didn’t go down well.

In truly mad scenes, the groom wore a United shirt – complete with ‘Just Married’ on the back – while every detail was replicated, including a cake slapped with the same sponsors as the Red Devils.

But while he was clearly proud of his efforts, his new wife did not look amused in these photos of the day. Ouch.

We’re not sure whether to salute this guy or get him professional help.

I guess one day of happiness is enough for him.

She is going to throw that up in his face at every opportunity. He better learn how to hum/sing that witless Man United song with its Battle Hymn tune to try to drown out her droning about ruining her wedding.

Well when the title says “Groom organizes...wedding” what do you expect? If Mrs. henkster had left it to me, it would have been Wrigley Field and lots of Old Style.

Like in the Movie “Diner” where the bride-to-be had to pass the “Football Quiz” before the groom would agree to go through with the wedding.

Well, the way MU is playing I give the guy credit for not being a fair weather fan.

Be careful what you marry. You have to live with it.

If that’s what would tip you over the edge, you are one tolerant lady.

As a former Justice of the Peace, here’s my advice. The groom is a guest at an affair his soon-to-be Mother-in-law has concocted with his girlfriend. Rent a nice suit of her choosing and enjoy the meal.

Disney would have been proud. Teaching one’s fanatic followers to display advertising without paying for it. Of course, it could be that the Chevrolet Division of “Government Motors” actually did pay him for the ads, but I’ll lay odds they didn’t.
