Stewart, Ward investigation complete; statement next week: Statement from Ontario Co. Sheriff’s Office. Investigation complete:
“The Ontario County Office of Sheriff has completed its investigation into the death of Kevin A. Ward, Jr., which occurred August 9, 2014, at the Canandaigua, New York, Motorsports Park. The entire thorough investigation, including a forensic video enhancement recently received from the New York State Police Laboratory in Albany, has been submitted to the Office of the Ontario County District for review. The District Attorney’s Office, which has been meeting throughout the investigative process with members of the Sheriff’s Office, will make a statement late next week advising what action will be taken regarding the investigation.

I have a 1997 Toyota 4Runner with 225K miles. I mainly use it for hauling dogs and fire wood. On long drives it bounces so much that my equilibrium is shot for the day. And at the 75 mph speed limits on I25, when it hits expansion joints on bridges there is no way to guess which way it will go. It is really uncontrollable on this commute. Not worth my life.

I got the MB C300 for ride and crash safety rating knowing that when this job assignment is over it will be used up. They pay me well enough that it is not a big deal and I write off the mileage expenses. I also have a 2013 Audi S6 which is a real rocket. It has V8 Twin Turbo and C&D test for 0-60 was 3.7 seconds. I mainly drive it on weekends. I only have 5K miles on it so far. I live way up in the mountains in Colorado so I only have AWD vehicles now. The Toyota comes into service when the snow is really deep.

I’ve only put 6k on the 335i and have had it for a year and a half. Some rides you just save & enjoy. Not to many more days in the high desert here before the weather sets in. Sounds like you’re about outa good drive weather too.

H very limited time to travel this Spring and Summer w/the house remodel and wife’s busy work schedule. We hope to rectify that this coming year, Lord willing. Put some new Michelin ZR summer tires on last week - (had the belt showing on the RR..others had minimal tread) $1700.00 ca-ching!
