One of the greatest electronic music songs of all time. Kraftwerk were so far ahead of their time, it’s scary.

BTW, one of the very first videos I ever saw on MTV was “The Model”.

They used music from Electric Café as the intro music for that skit.

But you must admit, Emerson Lake and Palmer were way better than this stuff in the day.

KW was never on the radio here at least.

You can still get their concert DVD on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/Kraftwerk-Minimum-Maximum-Ralf-H%C3%BCtter/dp/B000BW7R26/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1411101689&sr=8-1&keywords=kraftwerk+minimum+maximum

They seem to prefer vintage footage as “video” on some of the tracks.

Was actually my first choice, AFE popped up in the search and seemed more thematic.

I was actually responding to John Robinson who had posted a differnet live version of Are Friends Electric at Post 6...Your Top of the Pops version is EXCELLENT quality considering its age. Thanks so much for sharing it.
