Heaven and hell was his real showpiece in my opinion. (Geezer Butler really shined here as well).

You bet - absolutely.

I am a Christian, and I don't know his ultimate faith, but boy......could this man SING!

Incredible.

I think only Robert Plant would compare.

Geezer Butler played the best bass ever recorded on that song. Plays it as if it were lead guitar.

I think Obama sees himself as the “man on the silver mountain”

IMHO, The Talking Heads “Road to Nowhere” fits his administration perfectly

I have no idea what his faith was either, but if you like his voice, check out the stuff he did with Kerry Livgren (not much doubt about his faith), especially "Mask of the Great Deceiver." Plus, Barriemore Barlow!

One of the best voices ever in hard rock/heavy metal. And every performance, it looked like he was just having a blast, he always seemed to have a smile on his face.

Saw his Last in Line concert in a tiny venue. Best concert I have even seen. Couldn’t hear for a week, but man what a show!

Couldn’t hear for a week, but man what a show!

The show that left me without hearing for a week was George Thorogood inside a bar in Bangor, Maine. After the fifth day, I was beginning to freak.

Dio was one of the best rock singers of all time. I saw him live in Gothenburg in the late 80’s.

However, Only one guy on Earth, namely the legendary Greek Assopopolus, has ever performed a perfect CHILI rainbow in dark settings:

I saw The Who in 82, and that was one of the loudest concerts in history. But the best/worst/loudest I heard was Aerosmith. We were in a small auditorium, right in front if of the left main speaker. It’s no wonder I’m deaf!

All great shows, though. No politics, no security, no worries. Lol
