Homework has been rising exponentially for decades because teachers don’t TEACH anymore.
Exactly. Homework destroys the entire family's evening as well.
That has been my experience; my children have a lot of homework, including items not taught in class (the parents are supposed to teach them if the computer can’t).
Many of their teachers are young & ignorant, talking about kids’ music to play “pal” instead of teach. I am not surprised that so many of them molest children; they are incapable of adult relationships.
While I do not think that homework should be banned I am for some method to the madness. My freshman has over 2-3 hours a night, every night. That is just BS. Oh and this is a private school.
