All over the internet recently, sciFy vs. reality and a Mars satellite for petty cash:
That breaks the monopoly. Faced with the spectre of other nations publishing uncensored Mars images, NASA and JPL have started publishing some much more obvious images than they have in the past including a totally uncensored video (JPL) showing large-scale structure.

Shannon is like a plus-sized model: she has a beautiful face and pretty hair ... you just don’t want to focus on the belly ;-).
I’ll blow her a kiss, to avoid the claws. She’s made at me because I’ve been going to bed at 8:30 instead of sitting in the living room letting her bite my feet.
I need extra kittehs. I looked at some at Pet Smart, yesterday with Busdaddy, while he looked at dogs, and the price tags were $100. Of course, that includes chipping and spaying, but that’s more than I can afford, or want to pay.
Yesterday, I realized I needed to baby-proof the house in order to let a kitty live here!
Yes, kittehs are pricey at PetsMart. That’s where we got Jake and Shannon. You can get a better deal from your local shelter, if you’re patient.

The shelter lets PetSmart have the critters for display, and usually the price is the same. At PetSmart, though, I’m sure the Forever Parents spend a lot more than $100 before they get out the door.
I’m going to go take a couple of loads of laundry to wash. I don’t want to because I’m out of detergent, but I need clothes.
I’ll be doing wash all day now that the campers are home.

I’m stuck with the bedding here. I only brought two loads to wash, because I didn’t feel like messing with a lot of luggage, but Busdaddy decided to change the bedding from summer to winter. FINALLY! Flannel sheets!
He’s gone for his walk now, so it will be another hour before he gets home. It took me 30 minutes to make the bed...I don’t even make my own...
When this load comes out of the dryer, I’m going to go out and check the oil again. I borrowed some oil from a neighbor, and the dipstick showed the crankcase was full. Freaky. Anyway, I will buy a five-quart jug tomorrow and keep it in the truck, though I don’t like that idea. I just want it to look “girlie,” not all machoed up with guy/car things... ;o]
Maybe I need a crystal hanging from the rear view mirror?..
