All over the internet recently, sciFy vs. reality and a Mars satellite for petty cash:
That breaks the monopoly. Faced with the spectre of other nations publishing uncensored Mars images, NASA and JPL have started publishing some much more obvious images than they have in the past including a totally uncensored video (JPL) showing large-scale structure.
A few items...

I would love a nap
DP just set the fire alarm off.
Author ,P.D James is no longer with us. Just announced.
I ate. Busdaddy came over and actually ate a couple of Smart Ones turkey dinners...one with potatoes and one with dressing. He won’t eat again today, I’m sure, unless it’s a cup of yogurt.
Maybe now I can go back to concentrating on my diet.
Must be time to eat if the fire alarm goes off.... ;o]
My mother always said one day a week doesn’t count.
So sad to learn that. I have a couple of her books on Kindle.
LOL!
Looks like you’ll have some Momisms to relate to your kids and friends.... How much fun is that? :o])
I had the same turkey dinner. Only with a salad as well.
Never read P.D. James, I’ll have to look into her. I’m fond of Agatha Christie.
Oh yes,
Did today’s roasties my way....*sheilds up* ....
Part boil until 5mm of spud is looking cooked under the skin, then Fry.
Same result, almost, sort of,. :)
I had salad and a Hungry Man turkey dinner.
PD James took a bit of getting used to, but by the end of the book, I had become a fan. Something like, “No Position For A Woman,” on Kindle.
Excitement for the day
Probably because I’m never around anymore. No worries.
I hope you are having a good one!
We had the kids for Thanksgiving last month. It was very nice.
Tonight we are having spaghetti.
I hope you are having a great TG, and have someone helping with the dishes tonight.
Thanks Sweetie.
I hope you had a good one too!
Sure!
There is still a lot to learn about Mars.
Happy Thanksgiving skinkinthegrass.
I’m a Canuck, but my sister lives in the states. She started in Kentucky in the late ‘70s, and she said you guys didn’t have electric kettles back then. Is that true?
We have a dishwasher ;-).
We had a friend of Sally’s and her dad over. They’re going though a family breakup, and they wouldn’t have had a Thanksgiving dinner otherwise. With Tom gone, we had plenty of dinner and leftovers for Bill to eat tomorrow. He won’t be home from work until midnight, probably, but at least he didn’t draw the overnight shift.
Oh, indeed. Kids who grow up on Mars are probably going to hate school.
You see, the hours spent in school are too valuable to be doing only one thing. So the kids in school will probably be riding around on an unbelievably large centrifuge. This will provide additional artificial gravity to supplement Mars' .38 gees of hugging force.
You'll have to strengthen those growing bones any way you can. So school is going to be a drag, and it'll be uphill, both ways.
