I’m up. I wanted to walk this morning, hoping I could wake up on my own at 0500, since Shawn is coming today, but I was awake for three hours during the night, and that just didn’t help my internal clock.
So maybe I will walk to Walmart after he leaves. On the other hand, I would have to walk back, and I’m not ready for that, yet. So.
Maybe I’ll start on the books while Shawn is in here, cleaning. Or not. It seems I puttered a lot yesterday, but still got a few things done. Don’t know about today...

I’m up. I’m being dragooned out the door to Walmart, whether I like it or not. Then, I guess, we’ll go to the Laundromat. Kathleen says, “You have to do the laundries!”

Is this the REAL Fedora???? Where you have been all these years??! I’ve thought about you a lot.
So how do you like the new digs? Did you think we would even all be together, after almost 10 years? You should see the place, now! You wouldn’t recognize it!

When will your washer be a real one instead of a point of disinterest?
I need to go to Walmart, and for the first time in a long time, I resent having an aide...today, it is inconvenient.
66, partly cloudy and no breeze. Perfect walking weather. *sigh*

Taunting universal laws doesn’t bother the Universe. The results just happen. It’s Fate that thinks it’s great fun to put in a twist. All machines break down, and the universe won’t send anything to break your washing machine down just because you claim it’s working. However, Fate will try to make sure it breaks down right after you get the most humiliating stain on one of your articles of clothing.

...Set in the distant future amidst a feudal interstellar society in which noble houses, in control of individual planets, owe allegiance to the Padishah Emperor, Dune tells the story of young Paul Atreides, whose noble family accepts the stewardship of the desert planet Arrakis. As this planet is the only source of the "spice" melange, the most important and valuable substance in the universe, control of Arrakis is a coveted and dangerous undertaking. The story explores the multi-layered interactions of politics, religion, ecology, technology, and human emotion, as the forces of the empire confront each other in a struggle for the control of Arrakis and its "spice".[5]"...(Wikipedia)It's a sand planet... good books...

At least it’s Tom and not you. It gives him something to do besides contemplate his navel.
Kathleen, I’m sure, is the boss of him!

I don’t mind hanging around the Laundromat, but there are fewer disasters if I’m at home.

Mostly through doors and windows that children leave unlocked in their imaginations.
Sometime they hitchhike on baggage adults continue to carry with them.

That link was priceless—I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time :-) It’s a good thing Gandalf knew how to order a McBalin Burger from Moria or they would’ve been in trouble. . .

Here in the dark corners of the interwebs, like the dark corners of our minds, things come and go and ebb and flow.
Today, gremlins are good, as long as they are not manufactured by AMC.

How is your family? Are you still into genealogy?
