"But where do the gremlins come in?"

Mostly through doors and windows that children leave unlocked in their imaginations.

That ... explains a lot, actually.

I read the story about planet Arrakis, or "Dune", when it was serialized in Galaxy Magazine for the months of July, August, September, October and November of 1969.

A month between installments.

Those were long months.

"Current news has this in my head. I wonder why?"

The center part of the song has these lyrics:

Singing roll a bowl, a ball, a penny a pitch.

Singing, roll a bowl a ball a penny a pitch.
Roll a bowl a ball a penny a pitch.
Roll a bowl a ball.
Roll a bowl a ball.
Singing, roll a bowl a ball a penny a pitch.
If you're not listening carefully, it sounds as though he's saying something about "ebola".

Just imagine it's the President entertaining us.

Which is probably where they got the inspiration in part for sections of “The Completely Screwed Over Dub” of Ralph Bakshi’s “Lord of the Rings”.

I sit on the floor and pick my nose
And think of wonderous things

And people say I don’t appreciate poetry.

I’ve been out for a walk, already, for a total of 40 minutes. Somehow, I don’t think I’ve retained any water since yesterday, and that’s good.

The MRI is scheduled for this morning, and I’m ready to go, including my escort, but I was awakened by angina around midnight last night, so I will call them before I go in to see if it’s still OK. I don’t know what their protocol is for something like that.

It was 59 when I headed out for my walk, with 49%, so it’s no wonder my hands were so cold. I will have to find a pair of gloves. And I should probably find a day-glo vest so I can be seen in headlights, since I favor black clothing in the winter months.

It’s hard to believe I’ve been in this apartment two years next month. Time flies, and all that.

Yesterday, I just happened to glance at the bookcase I put together and will have to take one side off, as somehow, I missed a dowel on the front base. So I can just turn that bottom shelf around while I’m playing.
