Norm, there is not a specific point in ANY of your posts. Not one. What you post is rumor and inuendo.

Even your “3 quick examples from three sources” we’re not examples of Apple being a mover and shaker of Liberal activism in our culture. At best, they were examples of Apple Inc agreeing with an industry wide move to support the immigration of more trained engineers in their fields, a single press release in support of a US Supreme Court decision, and a link to Apple’s environmental statement page, which lays out what their company is doing to lessen their impact on the environment, which, no matter what your position on Global Warming/Climate Change has actually enhanced their bottom line by making their facilities completely energy independent from the grid, and, in fact become a profit center by selling energy back to the grid on off peak usage hours. They’ve made their products and packaging completely recycleable. Beyond that, they aren’t being rabidly radical about it. So what is your problem. . . I’m thinking about disconnecting my house from the grid, too. . . For purely economic, bottom line reasons.

You are the sole outlier on this thread. All objective data shows that Apple is not the hotbed of corporate leftism you claim. They are far more concerned with making excellent products that delight their customers and ultimately making a profit for their stockholders than pushing kookie causes.

Yes, there are liberals in its management but that’s true of almost any large organization. There are also moderates and conservatives. Some of the decisions they’ve made go along with the popular memes but even those have been criticized as being “lip service,” made purely for propaganda purposes, by the leftist organizations pushing them such as Greenpeace and Jesse Jackson, doing “just enough to seen doing something,” but are claimed by these critics to be really cynical, Capitalistic, moves purely made to enhance their “bottom line.”

You are perfectly welcome to dig a hole and pull your conservatively pure self into it and pull the sod over you. . . but I live in the real world.

You can tell when one side in a debate is bereft of facts. . . that side attacts the character of the opponent. You’ve just resorted to such ad hominem attack. . . for about the third time. I assure you, Norm, I am anything but “denser than lead.” The person on here who cannot see reason or accept facts when presented to you, with links from multiple posters and sources, is you. That is the quintessential definition of “denseness” in this context.

Can’t follow instructions either.

Again, Ping me when you address the points made on my posts. They are all there. Don’t type book length excuses.

Make an effort.

PS, you and I are all that remains posting on this thread. Aside from the people I emailed to laugh at your buffoonery. And I assure you, we are laughing. Hard.

PPS, The opposite of purity is corruption. Might wanna consider which side of that divide your purity comment puts you.
