I read the article. She reported on what was going on. There is no libel. The reason given for denying her service for a ticket she contracted for was that she was disruptive, or had the potential for being disruptive. The pilot over reacted and should apologize. But pilots are so egotistical and arrogant that they have a hard time admitting when they've been jerks.

I was a flight attendant on a plane where some smart ass thought it would be cute to ask, as he was boarding, if we were late because the pilot was at a bar. The flight was shut down and both pilots went for a breathalyzer test. The company was informed, the passengers - everyone knew some idiot was responsible for some snarky comment that had the potential of destroying two men’s careers and destroying their lives.

We, too, departed hours later.

Another time, one passenger said he was with the FAA. He wasn’t. Idiot. Feds met the plane and they took him off to discuss impersonating a federal officer.
