That's my idea of what we can do to defeat these people in their goal to crush us Christians. It's not perfect but if you have a better idea then quit complaining, post it where everyone can debate it.

I don’t know that there is a real solution but, wouldn’t sub’ing the work still violate yoir conscience.

It’s akin to clearing your house of alcohol and then handing the alcoholic money to pursue his indulgence.

No, because I am not doing the work or handling the product. I pay the sub contractor the fees he set and I do not profit at all except by not being exposed to a lawsuit which the federal courts say I will lose.

Personally, if I owned a bakery targeted by a deviant couple, I'd go ahead and bake the cake.

But not before advising them that I intended to use some real special frosting.

Disagree with this approach as it can still be prone to lawsuits.

The approach that we discussed earlier this year is that all wedding services come through a Church approved wedding planner or other person that a Church recommends.

No wedding services are to be sold directly to the public; everything via a Church.

The next battle will be discrimination of homosexuals inside a Church. That will prompt another retreat and possibly going underground.

The result is a happy LGBT client who has no reason to bring a lawsuit against you

But that would make them unhappy..................

I am not handling nor making available, to the alcoholic, booze but, I’m willing to sacrifice my stance by enabling behavior?

Let me throw some money at the problem, while I stand on my high moral ground.

Since this is clearly an “in your face” assault on Christian businessmen, I have an alternative:

DO A LOUSEY JOB! I highly-skilled photographer, for example, can skillfully time his shots to make the subject look, sick, drunk, ugly, etc.

As for a caterer, it might be hard to louse up a cake (salt vs. sugar?)—but think what could be done to salads and hors d’oeuvres!!

They are creative—so get with it and retaliate.

They should have the custom-made cakes as a separate legal entity from the rest of the bakery where they sell non-custom made stuff

I like the idea in general, but have one question concerning it: how much of a percentage would be considered legally fair to add onto your standard pricing so that you would not be in danger of being attacked for overcharging?

In the Manufacturing industry, the accepted standard is six percent over cost for a minimum charge. As far as commercial sales, I think whatever the market will bear, within reason. You don’t want to overcharge or you will lose sales, but if you undercharge you will lose out and go out of business.

Personally, I would tack on a standard charge of, say, five thousand extra just because of the extra work and headache that would be involved. Then again, I am not a lawyer so I do not know how that would fly in court if a potential customer takes issue with that.

I am not handling nor making available, to the let me put it this way:

They are treating gay unions separately and distinctly.

Equal Protection Clause.

What are the rules for a placard saying something like

No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service
We reserve the right to refuse any job or service

Debating the virtues of the idea may be pointless; the goal is not to get a cake made but to bring to their knees those individuals who don’t reflexively kiss the feet of the gay icons.

>>No wedding services are to be sold directly to the public; everything via a Church.<<

You want to give the church a share of the profits for simply being a church. The food services, the dress designers, the entertainers, the florists, the housekeepers all would have to apply to the church for a position. Sorry but that sounds like socialism to me.

I appreciate you trying to find a solution but,
a) I own a business and I would never post that I sub out any business as I do not want any clients or potential clients to think it’s not me they’re working with

b) This is the same mind set during Sodom & Gomorrah where they tried to appease the aggressive gays that wanted to have sex with the angels. Instead of telling them to their face they are defying God’s natural law, the guy tried to throw them his daughter as appeasement.

Hanging a sign to make them go away is just not right. We need to be bold in our stand and say that ‘IT IS GOD THAT DEFINES MARRIAGE, NOT THE GOVERMENT’ and Stand with the truth.

Everyone knows what their hourly cost of keeping the doors open is. Personally I wouldn’t add anything because thankfully I have yet to have a single LGBT client. If it ends up being one a month then I would donate my time simply because I don’t want to profit from these sickos.
