Women want men they can respect, and men want to be respected, however Scripture says a man should LOVE his wife as Christ loved the church. Jesus died for the church (us).
So when men love women that much, and ‘actions speak louder than words” well...then men can expect THAT SUBMISSION they keep talking about. When you respect someone submission is easy. WOMEN WANT REAL MEN...not the whining, complaining, give me this and give me that babies being brought up in America today.
I respect my husband, he loves me enough to die for me, so being submissive is a return of that love through respect, and caring for his needs. Mission Accomplished.

Women just want something to complain about, and I’ve got it in spades.
It may not be 99% but it’s still a majority. If not why is Alimony so prevalent? Why are divorce laws still so skewed to women if they are now equal, or in their minds superior to men? If they do not need men, why must they get into our wallets after the break up? Women do need men for financial support, delude yourself all you like. This is why single women vote Democrat. They can continue to delude themselves that they do not need a man, all the while they vote themselves goodies from Uncle Sugar.
Yes, the stay at home Mom is a minority, but that does not mean that women pay an equal share of the bills in a household, because they do not. Men still pay the lion’s share, and even though a woman may be working, that is HER money, to be spent as she wishes. Her husband’s or boyfriends money is thought to be OUR money by most women. I have seen it over and over and I stand by it. If you are an exception to the rule, that does not negate the rule.
I love these conversations. I just had one with a female acquaintance who was spouting off about all of the accomplishments of women and how useless American men are. So I had to get right down to it. I told her the un-PC truth. Women have advanced so far in America because men ALLOWED it. Oh the look on her face! I thought her head was gonna explode. So, even though I know that since she has a vagina she is impervious to facts I pressed on. I asked her, “Do you want to know why?” She said yes and then I went on to ask, “How did women get the right to vote?” I mean it isn’t like they had a presence in the government to be able to vote it for themselves. No, this amendment was passed because men ALLOWED it to be. I also told her that if she wants modern day proof as to what happens when men are not willing to allow women to have equal rights, go to any Middle Eastern country and get back to me. Let’s hear then about how awful and evil American really are. At least here we won’t stone them to death for saying so.

Christian women in particular LOVE to believe their submission is contingent.
You missed the point, maybe that’s why you are hung up on the Submission part, and not the Happiness of marriage.
Please give me that Scripture location about ‘submission’.

I'm not hung up on submission. I'm hung up on the duplicitous kind of self-justification practiced by wives who only follow when their husband leads to where the wife wanted to go in the first place.
By the way, do you see anything about "happiness" in the Scripture you cited?

The truth in the US is that the vast majority of women work and then they come home and cook dinner, clean the house and take care of the kids til the Lord of the Manor gets home. So if they got paid for being a chef, maid and nanny in addition to their 40 hour per week job they would be rich.

As far as your chef, maid, and babysitter BS is concerned, a man could hire such help and it would be much cheaper than having a wife. Especially when you factor in that the man pays more on average to maintain the household, as I demonstrated above by showing that women work less and earn less. Yes, women have made some progress, but they still, on average, contribute less financially to the household. Take your wife some flowers and treat her like she is the most important person in the world....and quite complaining, that’s the reason the Israelites had to wander in the desert 40 years and wouldn’t be allowed to go into the promise land, and their descendents were the ones who entered.
Love her, hug her, and occasionnaly do things she would do....happiness is a by product of serving others...including your spouse. You would be amazed at how much she will enjoy serving you once she see you in action.
And yet not one thing from you on what the wife should do for the husband... So sick of this one way street.
