Note: One of the best books I have read is
“How We Die” by Dr. Sherwin B. Nuland
Very strange....i just looked at the date November 3) and realized that my mothers death was around this time 15 years ago.
Here is the rest of the story
I had gone out to see my mother while she was in the hospital a week or two before. Then on November 3 1999 I had a major heart attack.
It had been coming on since Halloween (I told myself I had the flue). Not being able to reach my wife I called a friend to ask her to pick up my daughter at school because I was too sick
She could tell something was wrong by the sound of my voice and came over ...called the ambulance. I barely made it to the hospital in time and my heart stopped as soon as I got there.I got my near death experience and they shocked my heart back to pumping.
I was in the hospital for 2 weeks and had a bypass. I got out and was home when my mother called to say good buy. Then I managed to get up, fly to Texas, and go to the funeral a few days later.
All started on this day 15 years ago
treat yourself well today. The body carries the memories of the pains we have borne. there is a week once a year that contains the anniversaries of the deaths of four close family members. I take time off that week just to be good to myself.

You aren't free to come on your own terms so I guess you aren't free to make that choice.

I am so sorry.
HH Royal, huh? On his first day here he posted that Christianity was nothing but a bunch of “tall tales”...I figured he wouldn’t be long for the FR world. Good riddance.
Good riddance to bad rubbish, I say as well.
