A 29-year-old terminal cancer sufferer who had previously spoken of her right to die has ended her own life surrounded by her family.

According to friends and family of Brittany Maynard, she passed away in her Portland, Oregon, home after her condition worsened and the tumor took over.

However she was able to choose to die before she lost her ability to function.

People.com said she wrote on Facebook : 'Goodbye to all my dear friends and family that I love.

'Today is the day I have chosen to pass away with dignity in the face of my terminal illness, this terrible brain cancer that has taken so much from me … but would have taken so much more.'

This is chilling to me. I don't know why, but I think this is a horrific example and precedent.

I agree. And most of all because she was so public about it she encouraged others to do as she chose to do.

I thought she was starting to say she wasn't going to go through with it. This wicked act sets a frightening precedent.

Lord have mercy.

What “right to die”? There is no such right in the Bill of Rights.

Guess the late Miss Maynard didn’t postpone her suicide after all.

The Daily Wail is getting sicker and sicker the further left it slides.

That is what makes it worse; she wants others to do the same and pushed for it to be set up in states that have made it clear that their electorate isn’t interested and is adamantly against any kind of right to die, which leads to euthanasia.

While suffering is yet, horrific and I do believe that doctors should ease pain as much as possible, I do believe that committing what is essentially suicide and I do believe she’s made an eternal mistake. I do believe that she’s going to end up being politely asked by God, not just why she wanted to die, or why she offed herself, but why she tried to encourage others to go along with her.

It’s bad enough to want to end your own life, but worse to try to take others along with you on your ‘magic carpet ride’ and to end up trying to push other states to violate what the electorate has made perfectly clear.

Not really. I think they just do the reporting and call it what the cancer sufferer calls it.

I hope He does; I wonder how she’ll explain her eagerness to push for ‘right to die’ in other states.

That sounds to me like someone promoting pure evil; ‘good energy,’ much what the smiling sociopaths call good while doing evil?

She wasn’t entirely at a breaking point either, where doctors could quietly give her an over-prescription. She had plenty of time left and should have hung on, not done it like this.

That to me is what makes her doings evil and I think she’s going somewhere other than Heaven.
