Ed sure could have used those 50,000+ votes the Liberterian candidate siphoned off. Does the Libertarian Party lack the right to run a candidate? OF COURSE NOT!
Do individual citizens lack the right to vote for the Libertarian candidate? OF COURSE NOT!
If the Republican party wants some of those 50k votes, it bloody well has to EARN them.

I don't blame the citizens who voted their principles, but I do blame the greedy, self-serving Libertarian Party, whose sole reason for being is to enrich themselves. Who do you think funds the Libertarian Party? In most cases, it's the Democratic Party, who sees the Libertarian Party as a perfect vehicle for stealing close elections from Republicans. So if you're a Libertarian and you don't mind being a TOOL of the Democratic Party, by all means, keep doing what you're doing.
