Although it feels like it was a long time coming, the Democrats have finally gotten their just deserts, and I must admit that it is a guilty pleasure to witness their meltdown.
I always knew that their lies would one day backfire on them. I have gotten the most pleasure from witnessing my liberal co-workers (whom I have been fighting with on a daily basis for over a year) completely come unglued when I walked by their desk and showed them the U.S. House map that showed all of the seats (a sea of red) that Republicans won. It was pure gold! I have also been laughing uncontrollably when I replay the montage of liberal pundits’ and journalists’ meltdowns on election night.

Anybody have a demographic that shows the Hyphons distribution of votes? Still 10% democrat no matter what right?
I bet the Demo establishment was surprised that they didn’t get much of a bump from the Hispanics — the Amnesty thing is a proven failure. It now becomes a political football held by the GOP. They need to score with it.
However, I've seen far too much of the "This is the day when everything changed" hyperbole in my lifetime to believe that things are radically different. Politics in the US is generally played between the 40-yard lines. BO tried to run a hail mary, and failed this week ..... so we'll be be back to midfield again.
IMO, this is a positive thing. A government that governs least is good.

I think it’s time for Republicans to stop regarding blacks as a special ‘constituency’. The act of patronizing is racist in itself. The message should be clear. No hyphen-Americans, just Americans. We want EVERYONE to succeed. A rising tide will raise ALL boats. That is the message to send to blacks.

The Democrats fight, and they are never more vicious than when they lose power. If anyone thinks they do not have the ability, power, and desire to roll over the (current) Republican leadership, they are sadly mistaken. Laugh at your own risk, by this time next year it could very easily be Republicans imploding.
That verse will fall on deaf ears here. I’ve posted it before...and pointed out that King David refused to rejoice in the stumbling of his adversaries. It wasn’t received well....even by people who claim to follow the scriptures.
The elections were a triumph. But the RINOs are planning to negate their importance. Best the author channel her energy into keeping the pressure on Republican legislators to perform as Conservatives.
Enough of these gloating articles (I mean in general- I’m glad you posted the article). Dems are smart enough to not repeat the same mistake two elections in a row. If we want to retain the Senate and House in 2016, there is much work to do.

Kinda like when Apollo 10 got into lunar orbit. john Young said, “now that we’re here, what do we do?” He was kidding, of course, they knew what they had to do. Now, the Pubs are in the same situation. They’re here now. They know what has to be done.
I agree there’s much work to do. But the RATs don’t know anything except to find some new lies, a new liar, and double down on the old lies. It will be interesting to watch.
