A South Florida restaurant hosted a free birthday party for a large group last month.
Unfortunately, no one told them the plan and now they're out a big chunk of change.
The Broward Sheriff's Office is searching for those who celebrated the joyous occasion at Cheddar's Casual Café in Tamarac and then left without paying the bill.
The tab for the group of 15 people topped out at almost $300.
According to BSO, the party guests who celebrated on October 15 trickled out a few at a time until there was no one left.
Surveillance cameras caught the "Dine & Dash" escapade and now detectives are asking those with any information on the identity of the suspects to call Broward Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS (8477) or www.browardcrimestoppers.org.

Honestly, this is what I heard. The reason is, that in slavery times, the white men did whatever they wanted with their slave females, that obesity is a defense mechanism to make themselves unattractive to white men, or men in general.
Agree or disagree, that’s one theory out there................

ok, where were the waiters/waitresses monitoring this large party???? Normally they frequently check the table then ask if no desert give the ticket.
Gotta love how no mention is made of the perps description. One needs to go out of their way to find it....almost as though they no intention of finding them.

My daughter is a waitress at Cheddars. (Not the one mentioned in this story.) When people walk out, the wait staff has to pay for the food. My daughter has become a racist after working at Cheddars. To be clear, my daughter is a friendly, outgoing Christian girl. She consistently ranks tops in sales at Cheddars, so obviously she is doing something right. But again, her views on people have changed because of her work experience.
She’s not alone. My son did a tour at an Applebee’s and especially hated the Sunday lunch shift.
They all walked past the hostess station, but no one stopped any of them.
I am helping out a Pastor friend with a new church plant here in Calgary. He is Liberian and the majority of the church is African. One rather large woman from the Congo told me that in her home country, having a large wife is a status symbol. A large wife means that her hubby is doing well enough to keep his wife ‘well fed’. If she is not so big, he is not earning a good living.

That could work in poorer countries. Even in the west, a hundred or so years ago, chubby women were icons.
