Why won’t they finally kill themselves?

By that logic, she is an environmental villain by continuing to breathe.

It certainly contains more truth than any documentary Michael Moore ever excreted ...

If she regards statistics as destiny, she should move to where the statistics are ‘better’ about an individual having a smaller environmental ‘footprint’. That might be Bangladesh or Somalia for an example.

What is left out of this whole discussion and her apparent mindset is that the American baby stands a whole lot better chance of making a favorable impact on the world than these other places. This worry is literally “Throwing the baby out with the bath water!”

Oh, yeah ... I know a real life Trevor and Carol ... both very high IQ, certainly smarter than I am. Both have a PhD in real engineering or science disciplines from highly respected universities. They spent years deciding on whether or not to have a child ...

For a Nov. 13 piece for Alternet, Tucker asked, “Does Having a Child Make Me an Environmental Villain?” In it, Tucker outlined her “main source” of “maternal guilt:” “the mere fact that I created a person.” “Specifically,” she wrote, “an American person who will inevitably leave a large carbon footprint.”

I'll bet she's OK with Obama bringing millions of illegal immigrants into the America, where they will "inevitably leave a large carbon footprint.”

There are a lot of crazy people out there. I sometimes wonder if I actually know some of them, but they don’t act all crazy in front of me.

Nobody at church, or Weight Watchers, or the gym, or Walmart talks about the environmental impact of their children.

I was thinking the author could help the environment by offing her loser husband and composting him.

They both look like freaks.

This just goes to show that IQ doesn't bear any relationship to common sense.

That's a still from a movie called Idiocracy.

Is it a satire, or a documentary?

You decide ...

Heh, that actor played a recurring homosexual character in “Nash Bridges” in ‘98 to ‘01. He was funny.

There’s also the “Two Bottles of Relish” approach, but I think that would take more fortitude than this featherhead has.

I vaguely remember that show ... never was much of a TV watcher.

BTW, who's this "Science" that wants to kill you?

Physics, for example. If I walk out in the street and a truck is coming, POW, that’s it for me. Chemistry ... you can’t breathe dihydrogen monoxide or carbon monoxide, just for starters. Biology ... botulism in your canned carrots, e.coli in your ground beef.
