I guess this takes Barry out of the running for DC mayor for the 1,589th time. Ah well.. at least he can still vote.
I knew Leon Young, the vice mayor of Colorado Springs back in the 1980s.. through nationwide mayors’ conferences, he came to know Barry and told me, before the evil of Barry’s administration was nationally known, we’d be hearing about him as the most corrupt, vengeful, racist and incompetent mayor in modern times. “Everything you’ll hear about Marion Barry in the press will just touch the surface; he’s exponentially worse.

In contrast the crack smoking Toronto mayor ran a pretty tight administration and turned the finances around from a previous socialist tax and spender. He was running for reelection this year but developed cancer and dropped out of the race letting his brother try to be elected. His brother didn’t win but Rob Ford did get elected as a councilor even while undergoing cancer treatments. He is still technically mayor until Dec 1 when the new mayor is sworn in. He was signing Mayor Rob Ford bobbleheads a couple of days ago to raise money for two hospitals.
No problem, he will be voting Donkey early and often from the grave for 150 years. You can be certain of that.
