As Twitchy reported, demonstrators in and around Ferguson, Mo., have been soliciting supplies from the public, going so far as to set up an Amazon wedding registry with a wish list of supplies for “sanctuary spaces.” Among the most wanted items are portable USB chargers for iPhones and other cameras, cold-weather gear (hand warmers, long underwear) and Sharpie markers and poster paper.

St. Louis Post-Dispatch reporter Paul Hampel today spoke with a man wearing an “I am Mike Brown” shirt and referred to only as “D White,” who told Hampel that he’s “ready for war” after the last four months since Michael Brown was shot.

When the Korean shopkeepers defended their stores in Los Angeles, George H.W. Bush was president. Who is in the White House now? Merchants aren’t stupid. They know which way the wind blows.

How did Noah Webster put it way back in the 1800’s? something about the result expected of a Nation that forgets God? I think Dennis Prager said it right when he published we don’t have a race problem in America—we have a Moral problem. the Grand Jury did justice. The enemy of God—the enemy of Our country forgets God—rejects right and wrong—and pushes for all this racial war —to destroy America.

Most every state in the union allows one to protect his property. Does Missouri not?

Yeah! looting Ferguson is safer. If they went to Clayton they might have run into an epidemic of lead poisoning.

You understand that our government is going to be on the other side. What do you think they bought all that ammunition for, deer hunting.

For every round they bought, we already had 10 and bought another 10.

>>Then it becomes personal.<<

It's personal to me when they come after my property or business. Have already had experience. Police said shoot to kill.

Rioting, shoplifting, arson, robbery, and larceny are not war, kid.

And, by the way, you’ll do a lot better in life if you forget about nabbing that color TV and put a little extra effort into learning to speak English correctly.

Officer Wilson testified that the Gentle Giant grabbed his semi-auto by the barrel which prevented the slide from moving into battery. That technique is learned in prisons and taught by ex-cons to other thugs on the street on the disarming of police officers.

"Any grappling over a semi-automatic is likely to push the slide out of battery. If the slide is out of battery, the gun won’t fire. Alternatively, the aggressors hand could lap over the rear of the slide in such a way as to prevent the fall of the hammer (the pistol in question, a Sig 299, employs a hammer to strike a firing pin). If the hammer is blocked, it cannot impact the firing pin, the firing pin cannot impact the primer, and “CLICK.”

The above applies to ALL shots, whether first or successive. But ALSO in the context of successive shots, if an aggressors hand is over the slide, but not pushing it out of battery, the gun may fire the first round. But with the aggressor’s hand blocking the ejection port, the just-fired round cannot eject, and a new round is not loaded. Therefore the gun won’t fire a successive round until the slide is manually cycled, allowing the fired brass to be ejected, and a new fresh round to be chambered."

Sounds like Wilson encountered both of these scenarios." –Andrew, @LawSelfDefense

If it ever came down to a nut-cuttin’, my money is on the guys wearing Realtree and Mossy Oak gang colors, vs. the blue and red of the Crips and Bloods. I don’t expect it will, unless these fools are even more stupid than I think.

I might have agreed with you a few years ago, until I learned that at the height of the Iraq war the gangs were recruiting young members specifically without any police records to enlist in the army, go infantry and get a lot of literal on the job training so they could return to the 'Hood and teach all those cool tactics to the bros.

This has been shown time and again in the reports I've read where gang members have gotten into gun battles in the 'Hood where a police officer or even business owners have been held in place by one part of a group with steady fire while another group maneuvered to the flanks (sides) and eliminated the threat. That's downright scary, to me.

I have always felt one of the great advantages I hold over the street thug is my military past and training that has never left me. The idea that it could be negated by training provided to the gangs courtesy of our very own Uncle Sam is more than unsettling. I had always heard that the empty walls of Baghdad were quickly filled with gang graffiti. These post shooting reports seem to validate that.
