Showing up for my single game pick; Da Loins v Da Bears.

One thing comes to mind in this match-up: Lions kick to Bears to start overtime. 10 seconds and 95 yards later...Bears win.
I hope Caldwell and Stafford are watching film, 24-hours every day since Sunday evening.

Time for Detroit’s annual “Second Half Swoon” that usually starts around the 4th Thursday of November.

A male Viking fan and female Packer-backers won't work, it's kind of like Baptists and Episcopalians.

Week 13 already? I've already been eliminated from my Knockout Pool, and am barely hanging on for a playoff spot in fantasy. Nevertheless, I'll make my fearless predictions for this T-Day Football Extravaganza!

Week 13

Thursday, Nov. 27

Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions, 12:30 p.m. Bears have shown life the last two weeks although it's probably too little too late. As for the Lions, ten points total over the last two games. Still, they have always played well at home on Turkey Day. So... Lions!

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys, 4:30 p.m. I'm liking Tony R and the 'Boys at home. Cowboys win!

Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49ers, 8:30 p.m. Neither one of these teams has been exactly overwhelming the last several weeks. But judging them on last week's respective performances versus the Redskins and the Cardinals, the Seahawks looked a lot better. No joy in Harbaugh-Land, Seahawks win.

Sunday, Nov. 30

San Diego Chargers vs. Baltimore Ravens, 1p.m. Chargers have a tough tough finish to the season. If they wanna make the playoffs they better get this one. And honestly I don't know what to make of the Ravens this season. When in doubt go with the home team. Ravens!

Cleveland Browns vs. Buffalo Bills, 1 p.m. Has the stadium been excavated? Bills were impressive Monday night, Browns have been struggling. Bills.

Tennessee Titans vs. Houston Texans, 1 p.m. Don't bet against JJ Watt. About the only thing he hasn't done this season is kick a field goal. And maybe he'll get around to it! Texans!

Washington Redskins vs. Indianapolis Colts, 1 p.m. If the Colts lose this game they should pack it in for the season. To say the Redskins are in turmoil is a gross understatement. Andrew Luck is going to feast on the Washington D. Colts!

New York Giants vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, 1 p.m. Giants looked good Monday night even though they lost. Their new all-world receiver will have another big day against the Jags. G-Men!

Carolina Panthers vs. Minnesota Vikings, 1 p.m. Wow. Another dog game. But as incredible as it is, the Panthers still have a chance to win their division. Panthers.

New Orleans Saints vs. Pittsburgh Steelers, 1 p.m.What has happened to the Saints this season? After three losses in a row at home, travelling to Pitt isn't going to help much. Of course, the Men of Steel lost in their last outing too... to the Jets! Nevertheless, Steelers win!

Oakland Raiders vs. St. Louis Rams, 1 p.m. The Lambs aren't gonna gift-wrap it like the Chiefs did last week. Rams.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1 p.m. A must-win for the Dalton Gang. Bengals.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Atlanta Falcons, 4:05 p.m.The vaunted Arizona D should contain the Falcons enough to let the anemic Cardinals O eke out a win. Cards.

New England Patriots vs. Green Bay Packers, 4:25 p.m.The Game of the Week! Pack edges the Pats, 52 - 49, with Brady and Rodgers combining for 1000 yards and eight touchdowns. Packers!

Denver Broncos vs. Kansas City Chiefs, 8:30 p.m. Broncos need to get back on track and the Chiefs are a good opportunity to do that. Broncos.

Monday, Dec. 1

Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets, 8:30 p.m. Could the Jets be any more pathetic? Yes they can, and will be on Monday night. They had almost two weeks to prepare for a shell-shocked (snow-shocked?) Bills team, and got taken apart. This week won't be any better. The Phish win!

And as a bonus pick....

GEORGIA TECH beats GEORGIA for the first time in, oh, ten years! .... To Hell with Georgia!!!!

My cousin (Bears fan) dated a Packers fan once. When the Pack were playing bad, she closed up shop.

The star-crossed lovers, indeed. When I started my last contract, which was in Madison, Wisconsin, I was asked if I was a Bears fan, as I was living in northern Illinois. As a Rams fan, I was excused, and I was favorably compared to my mouthy Bears fan predecessor.
