At the top of this thread it says:

Week 13
Thursday, Nov. 27
Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions, 12:30 p.m.
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys, 4:30 p.m.
Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49ers, 8:30 p.m.
Gadzooks, Gene— just what... isn't clear up there????
Or-- have you been... drinking the turkey brine again?
Really... Bender? Cut Gene some slack--
He is just doing what I want: explaining the obvious to all those that should never, ever be made... to actually read what is at the top of this thread. It is the government's job to tell everyone just what is what and all that they need to know--
Right... Jonathan?
Right, sir. People on Free Republic are way too stupid... to just read and comprehend what is written--
That is why we need to tell them... just what they read or think they read.
Beautiful, Jonathan, just beautiful--- Music... to me ears!
Gadzooks, Gene-- See what you started and it is on... all the channels--

While surfing the net, found this:
From http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/page/TMQWeekTwelve141125/thankful-good-games-turkey-day-tuesday-morning-quarterback
1928: Frankford Yellow Jackets 2, Green Bay Packers 0. Trudging to a stadium on Thanksgiving to watch a football game in which the sole scoring play was a safety was better than trudging to a 0-0 outcome. Frankford is a neighborhood in Philadelphia, so the Yellow Jackets-Packers contest pitted two small areas.
Gadzooks, big, nothing like this... since the December 26, 1970 playoff game between Dallas and Detroit ended with my Boys winning 5 - 0.
BTW George Andrie and Jethro Pugh both got credit for the safety when they sacked Lions QB Greg Landry in his end zone late in the 4th quarter--

I attended a game between the Jets and the Colts in Indianpolis in 1987 which ended up a 6-0 win for the Colts. Talk about a snooze fest.

Yup. Was a NURP game. Non-union Replacement Players...
I was attending a course at Ft. Benjamin Harrison and our whole class went to the game.

It was a strike game but as I recall Gary Hogeboom crossed the picket line to start for the Colts at QB.
