Cowboys are in big trouble because 10 wins isn’t going to be enough to get into the Wild Card.
I'll shoot the paper-hanging SOB myself
Blame the jerseys.... Nah blame JJ
They say that, 'All good things must end' Let's call it a night... the party's over
And tomorrow starts the same old thing... all over again!
It sure is over. That was just pathetic
Via “live chat”...
“If only someone could go in the booth and sack aikman...”
;^)
This should pretty much seal Rex Ryan’s fate, seeing how good Sanchez has been in Philly.
He didn’t look so great in Green Bay
Sorry about that.
Bump
I agree. I just stopped watching after a while, when it seemed like the Cowboys just couldn’t get anything going and kept making errors.
Exactly right, now in only wondering when I’ll be able to be hungry again and if there will be any banana pudding left by morning
Well played, Bender2!
Happy Thanksgiving.
Philly has clinched the tiebreaker vs. DAL ... so DAL must gain TWO games now ... beat PHIL in 2 weeks and gain another.
DAL vs. DET SF SEA
All 4 DAL losses are conference, so tiebreakers vs those 3 teams also look bad. DET clinced tiebreaker over DAL. SF has clinched also due to head to head (and has conf rec, too)
DAL has 2-way tiebreaker vs. SEA due to head to head.
The next interesting question, who has tiebreak for DET vs. SEA ...
the 3-way tie DET DAL SEA ... if DET gets first wildcard, DAL gets 2nd. If SEA gets first wildcard, DET gets second.
I did this last week:
SEA has clinched tiebreaker over DET
conf rec would be tie
common games:
AZ CAR NYG GB
DET IS 2-2 WITH ONE TO PLAY
SEA IS 4-0 WITH ONE TO PLAY
so the 3-way tie DAL DET SEA ... SEA gets the 5 seed, DET gets the 6 seed.
IF SF AND SEA SPLIT THE 2 HEAD2HEAD:
SF has clinched common vs SEA ... if it gets that far.
Uncommon games
SF 1-1
SEA 2-0, therefore, if tied, SF has clinced COMMON games.
if they finish
SEA 10-6 3-3 DIV
SF 10-6 3-3 DIV
SF GETS it due to Common.
at 11-5 tie, SEA gets it due to 4-2 DIV record.
SAN FRAN:
if SF splits with SEA and gets 3rd place at 10-6 ... look at the tie with DET and/or DAL at 10-6 for the 6th seed.
comes down to SF vs DET
if SF loses 1 to SEA and an AFC opponent like SD ... they tie DET in CONF rec. goes to common.
AZ NO NYG CHI
DEt is 3-1-1
SF is 2-2-1
if the DET losses include the rem game vs CHI ... COMMON ENDS IN TIE AT 3-2. GOES TO SF. IF 6TH DET LOSS IS GB:
det UNCOMMON VICTORIES 8:
GB NYJ MN MN ATL MI CHI TB
8 2 4 4 4 6 5 2 = 35
SF UNCOMMON VICTORIES 8:
8 9 7 4 3 1 8 9 = 49
DAL PH KC STL WA OAK SEA AZ
SF HAS A DOMINATING LEAD OVER DET IN STRENGTH OF VICTORY
THERFORE AT 10-6, SF STILL HAS GOOD SHOT AT PLAYOFFS. IF THE 6TH LOSS IS TO SD (OR OAK).
Not looking good for the Cowboys making the playoffs.
