I bought Airweight for my wife, but she prefers our heavier .38 because its weight makes it a more stable gun to fire. The Airweight has greater recoil and hurts her hand.
Same here, my wife and daughter both love to shoot full size revolvers and it’s great practice.
That’s not what a CCW is designed for. I shoot mine only every few years or so just for testing. If you can’t carry it at all times it’s no use.
Ditto for Mrs. Child. She likes the feel, but it is very hard on her arm & wrist.
She really likes my Kahr CW9, but it is too large for her to comfortably CCW.
After trying *many* 380s, she fell in love with the Sig P238. Carries it regularly with Hornady Critical Defense.
I fully agree with those who say shot placement with good ammo is more effective than caliber alone. Especially for a small woman.
