350 years ago [1664] there were American citizens but no UNITED STATES CITIZENS..,
well duhhh
“When the English seized the city from the Dutch in 1664,
King Charles II changed the name to New York but the policy of tolerance in support of trade remained the same. Dutch families on Manhattan, Long Island, and throughout the Hudson River Valley retained their property, their rights as CITIZENS, and even their positions in the colonial government when the first English
Governor, Richard Nicolls, took command on the 6th of September 1664.”
http://maass.nyu.edu/tour/tour02.shtml
The Americans regarded themselves as British citizens but they had fewer rights than British citizens in England- They regarded themselves as AMERICANS, and they were citizens. That`s why there was an AMERICAN Revolution-
On my passport it says Nationality: “citizen/national of the UNITED STATES”, it does not say “CITIZEN OF AMERICA”
it says viz also “nationality UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”

The fastest way to get the right answer is to post the 'wrong' answer on FR. ;)

Of course there was an America 350 years ago. It was run by Geo III. Well, that was about 100 years before George III's time, but your point is taken.

Some California cop mentioned a 45mm pistol during a video clip. He was talking in reference to the North Hollywood shoot out back in the 90’s. He was quite serious and seemed to believe such a caliber existed.
To: Redcitizen
I got me one of them 45mm’s, it shoot purty good if you keep the dang thing off full automotive.

407 years ago my ancestors arrived at the Jamestown Colony in Virginia. I’m pretty sure they understood firearms.
