Syrian President Bashar al-Assad told a French magazine that he has not seen any sign that U.S.-led airstrikes in his country have weakened ISIS, despite that campaign's efforts to defeat the Islamist extremist group.
Syria is "running the ground battles against (ISIS), and we have noticed no change," al-Assad said in an interview with Paris Match, a portion of which was published online Wednesday.

A few dozen air strikes per day is not going to accomplish much. It’s like when we would bomb bicycles on the Ho Chi Minh trail during the Vietnam war.
Blowing up empty buildings and aspirin factories has never been much of a deterrent. Carpet bombing and nuclear obliteration has a higher degree of success.
What did we expect from a Muslim, King Obama, the communists BLACK Muslim traitor? Americans don’t have a clue how bad America has been attacked and nearly destroyed by this King. When the shi! hits the fan America will never survive the total destruction from it’s own ignorant people. All it will take is about 20 million violent ars hats and the Country will crash.
