Syrian President Bashar al-Assad told a French magazine that he has not seen any sign that U.S.-led airstrikes in his country have weakened ISIS, despite that campaign's efforts to defeat the Islamist extremist group. Syria is "running the ground battles against (ISIS), and we have noticed no change," al-Assad said in an interview with Paris Match, a portion of which was published online Wednesday.
