I could read this as: Its OK to be a freak [gays, black thugs, invading latinos, etc.] so long as youre useful [vote democrat], and once you have powerful friends [government enforcers] youll be accepted [at gunpoint]. There. Now it conforms to all current PC mandates!

When I was young I found my Dad’s chemistry set from the 50’s in the Grandparents attic.
You would LITERALLY have a HazMat response if you ran over it in the driveway or dumped it someplace today.
Lawn Darts are awesome. :-)

1. Hefty Folkie is a good name for a band.
2. This column ignores the most important point, brought up in a recent episode of “The Middle”: is King Moonracer a toy or not?

Show-off! :-)
I had to look it up...

I occasionally use the Island of Misfit Toys metaphor to describe a motley group within an organization that operates in innocuous
desuetude...
Congratulations, you said the "Secret Word."

I remember watching the premier in 1964. Loved it as a kid.
I mentioned on another thread that when they did he digitalization a few years ago, I guess the fact that Yukon C. was packing a firearm missed the airbrush.
You know what happens when liberals get a hold of classics.

Magoo’s Christmas Carol stays suprisingly close Dicken’s original short story. The musical tunes are good too.

Well for that matter, he glossed over the fact that a slim, and presumably healthy, Santa is being encouraged to become obese by his significant other. Does she have a large insurance policy out on him? And what would this do to the cost of Obozocare at the North Pole?

I also miss the Norelco ads that featured Santa traversing the North Pole on a razor head. "Even our name says 'Merry Christmas.'"
No self-respecting corporation would dare use that slogan now.

Annabelles Wish.I watched it once, turned into a blubbery mess, and vowed never to do so again.
