LOL! Couldn’t you just see it? And the tower is bullet proof because there would be 100 FReepers on the ground firing at him!

Can you do woodwork? I plan to make moose planters with a scroll saw and sell them for $75.

Our local guy that made them got stationed elsewhere and the market is still here.

Thank you. Just finished up six months of Chemo and so far the numbers are looking good. Go back for a Checkup in a few Months and hopefully will stay in Remission for a while.

Been dealing with it for almost ten years. Feel out of Remission a few times along the way but the Chemo Drugs are still effective. Thank goodness for Big Pharma.

I’m sure “the numbers” will continue to look good. You have a long-term
fighting spirit! For my own reasons and yours, thank goodness for Big Pharma. :)

Spend more time boating on Lake Cumberland. Being out on the lake in my boat on a warm sunny day, anchored in my own private cove, listening to oldies while drinking a cold one and occasionally jumping into the water to cool down may be as close to heaven as I’ll ever get.

Survive another year. Finish another book. Actually two books.

That’ll do it.

We are very fortunate to live in this Day and Age. Twenty Years ago the Drugs I have been given didn’t exist.

I’m two thirds of the way to my Oncologist’s best guess on my possible Expiration Date, which is why I will start collecting my SS at age 62.

A Bird in the Hand and all that Jazz.

Thanks for your kind thoughts, I appreciate it.

I say, in this instance, ignore your oncologist. He/she doesn’t know everything.
Trust your 10 year track record which is excellent!

Coming from a Logistics Background, I pushed him to give me an “estimate” when I was first Diagnosed. I’m a black and white kind of guy. He gave me the numbers with much hesitation and added the usual Caveats, he was sure that improved Drug and Treatment Regimens would come on line.

He was right on the Drugs. When I had my first and second Rounds of Chemo in 2006 and 2009, the time and amount of Drugs pumped into me was pretty heinous.

My last go round this year using the same Drug types cut the time and volume of Medication by 25%. The improvement in Formulation was amazing, and happened within Five Years of my last Treatment. The recovery was a bit tougher than my earlier Regimens, but I am getting older after all.

BTW - When he gave me the initial Life Expectancy “estimate”, my response to him was simple. You mean I’m getting ripped off after paying all that money into SS and Medicare? Both he and my Wife looked at me like I was crazy, but that’s exactly how I saw it.

I wasn’t upset about the Leukemia Diagnosis, that’s Life, but the idea of losing all that Money really ticked me off, and still does. LOL
