I have a perfectly rational reason for not believing in climate change: Al Gore lies like his livelihood depends on it.
Many of the facts thrown around by Climate Change Believers are bogus. If they support themselves with lies, how good is their argument?
Cheers and good luck!The Conversation
“Will J Grant, Researcher / Lecturer, Australian National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science at Australian National University, owns shares in a science communication consultancy. He has received funding from the Department of Industry.
Rod Lamberts, Deputy Director, Australian National Centre for Public Awareness of Science at Australian National University, has received funding from the ARC Linkage grant program.”
Shilling for “science” money.
Question: How may one be sure a “Climate Change Believer” is sitting upright?
Answer: Ascertain if it is drooling out of both sides of its mouth.
The article itself is full of incorrect info, such as the notorious 97% of scientists figure. It throws around ad-hominems like the so-called climate denier “thinks they know better than pretty much all of science”, when in reality very little of science agrees with AGW.
Anyone whos challenged a Climate Alarmist knows that trying to turn them is usually frustrating and annoying. They are rarely part of the solution and probably never will be.
Socialism will use any trick of Satan to promote their goals.
It’s more frustrating to us on the “denier” side because we know about Science and they only have what the politician deem as “science”.
The BS about the “97% of Scientists” ignores the 31,000 Scientists that say AGW is a scam.
I always say that I not only ‘believe’ in Climate Change, I know it’s true. A mere 100,000 years or so ago North America was covered in glaciers and they’re now gone..
This statement usually shuts up the ‘believers’. Then I’ll ask, “Do you know what scares me more than Climate Change?” The answer to that is: The idea that the government can fix it. I usually ask them to name all the successful government endeavors, besides wars.
At this point they’ve usually surrendered and retreated...
Here’s a rather nice, fact-filled editorial from the Wall St. Journal that effectively debunks all the possible sources for the 97% figure. In reality, it’s somewhere between 0.4% and 1% of scientists who actually have an opinion on the subject, whereas many many more either have no opinion, or in the case of some 37,000+ chemists, physicists and scientists of related disciplines unequivocally state that AGW is false.

I never have to deal with this. No one I associate with is so stupid and gullible as to believe the global warming BS.
Will someone please tell me how CO2 increased 30 parts per million over the last 30 years is something to be concerned about? Seriously?
I call the whole thing ECO-PROFITEERING. Boy do leftists hate that term....
Now that gas is cheaper...I run my truck idling and turn on the heat while eating lunch. It’s for chilens.
I just start calling them global cooling deniers....
Shuts them up pretty quick....
Global Warming on Free Republic
Tell me about it! Those AGW/climate change chanters are the most obtuse, fact-proof people you could choose to debate.
The weaker the science, the louder the predictions of impending doom.
If some Climate Liar starts mouthing off about Glowbull Warming or Climate Change dump a bucket of ice water on him or her. Tell them this is what it will feel like when the inevitable glacial period returns and like this bucket of ice water you’ll never see it coming. ;-)
Just ask the GW believers, “What is the optimal temperature?” Watch them squirm trying to answer.
The East Anglia fraud/scandal/prosecutions was pretty much the end of any legitimate movement. Now it’s a matter of hunting down and discrediting propagandists based on their use of fraudulent data.
Some people talk to themselves because no one else wants to listen to them, and they even lie to them selves, by telling them selves people deny climate change.
Every one knows climate has been changing one way or another for millions of years.
I’m still waiting for them to explain to me why the ice that covered New Mexico a very, very long time ago is now gone..... long before cars and factories and pollution.
