The Interview (vanity, I just watched it)

I have a funny feeling the Koreans had no interest in this movie; maybe knew nothing about it at all. My suspicion is the final edit was lacking any reason for people to go see it, so they dreamed up this stunt to recap the money they spent.

(no, I haven't seen it)

I liked the song the girl was singing at the start...very realistic...lol...so far...bleh.

Bout as bad as that muhamed movie. Curse words every other word, sexual innuendos that only a 13 year old would think funny. My gawd this thing is horribrule.

There was a bit of a problem in that they didn’t really push his egomania. They set it up that he’s a manipulator and everything is a lie. Then the payoff is he’s just an angry bitter guy. They could have really pushed it in the third act and made you really hate him with all the abuse he doles on his people. Instead they leave him as just whiny and petty. Almost pitied.

They really had a shot at making a movie that, though crude, had the ability to stand with To Be or Not To Be and The Great Dictator. Instead the movie just relies on timely jokes that next generation will be forgotten.
