does him such a disservice that was headline.. should have figured though as it was TMZ headline.
OHH he did good job on Russia Land of the tsars I remember that special
Most scariest role he ever did he was pro life activist who target NY Abortion clinics boy he was scary that on fourth season of Law and Order mothership
Don’t you know that a British accent makes everything better? LOL!!
That’s a shame, I enjoyed his work. RIP.
How awful.
He was one of my favorite TV personalities. He was always so dignified. Kind of the personality that you would have loved to seen a president with.
My wife loved the Gilmore Girls and will especially be sad to hear this.
I remember him in the The Lost Boys
Sigh, I’m getting old.
I remember him him in a MASH episode playing a doctor with PTSD and check him out as s William Randolph Hearst
in ‘The Cat’s Meow’...VERY underrated actor..
He played FDR in the original Annie movie...and that was in 1982. He had quite a prolific career:

He had such good diction.
Hermann was in “The Paper Chase” movie when none of us knew who he was.
Yes, I think that's the first role I remember. His voice was so distinctive that I kept seeing him in other parts and saying, "Hey, it's that guy from that MASH episode!"
Me too, he was in so many when the History Channel was good.
RIP Ed.
Thanks for posting Gefn. Always enjoyed his acting. Rest in Peace Mr. Herrmann.
I have met some people who have worked with him. To a man, they all say he was just like his characters, dignified and classy.
His name is: Edward Herrmann
Sad news. RIP, Mr. Hermann.
I always recalled him as the guy in ‘Chariots of Fire’. Did I mis-remember this?
Maybe he was best known for his role in Gilmore Girls (do TV get famous, it’s a law of the universe) but he did so many great things.
RIP, guess God wanted him for the New Year’s Party. Louise Ranier will be there too.
Hermann was also in the Richie Rich movie.
