What can we say about Harry Ried's departure from the US Senate and his legacy?

No budget for 8 years (just Continuing Resolutions).

Ruinous Obamacare (he is it's real maker).

A Dysfunctional Senate.

Lowered the tone of the Senate so far that we’ll never go back to a more restrained era.

Uh, he’s still in the Senate, is just going to be the Minority leader instead, where he will engage in tactics far worse than he complained about the Republicans doing when they were the minority.

No. He will still be leader of the Minority. The MSM will treat him as the de facto leader of the Senate (just as they still treat Pelosi) and get his opinion on everything McConnell does, even though McConnell will be helping the Democrats. It’s the Democrat Way.

Reid constantly berated the Repub House---he deliberately sat on some 300 bills they passed to prevent the Senate from voting on them----as a way to protect Obama.

Now Harry's fending off Obama's furor in the wake of Obama's humiliating midterm defeat.

Heck, if Dems rallied its "stars" down to one big blowout rally, Obama maybe coulda survived (/snix)---Nancy Pelosi, .and for duhversity.... Al Sharpton and Luis Gutierrez, State Dept know-nothings---Susan Rice, Jen Psaki, and Marie Harf--that woulda emphasized Obama's "expertise" in foreign policy.

ROTFLMCO.

INSIDER TIDBIT--Obama/Reid feud escalates.

NYT REPORTED Obama called Harry Reid to broach a particularly delicate subject. It was during last year’s government shutdown and standoff with Republicans, but Mr. Obama’s frustration focused on one of their own.

Obama told Reid he suspected David Krone, Mr. Reid’s intensely loyal and influential top aide, of leaking to the news media, and requested that he stay away from future meetings.

It did not take much time for the president’s comments to reach Mr. Reid’s right-hand man. To Mr. Obama’s surprise, Mr. Krone was listening in on the call.

Suddenly, the aide piped up and made it clear to the president that he did not appreciate the accusation.

When Obama and Reid traveled to Nevada, to promote his immigration action, and allowed Reid to unofficially start his re-election campaign, public harmony contrasted with the private discord between the two men and their staffs....

... much of which has centered on Mr. Krone, a wealthy former cable executive whose defining principle is to defend Mr. Reid at all costs....(Excerpt) Read more at nytimes.com ...

He will be in control of Mitch and with the exception of maybe two, the rest of the Republicans. So he will still remain the majority leader. He will just be working behind the scene.
