So I forgot to say something else. If the YouTube video picture that is intended to fill the cell is intended as a background image (as I suggested), then its image source URL has to be an element part of the TH (or TD) tag, and you have to specify WIDTH=xxx and HEIGHT=yyy where xxx and yyy are the dimensions of the background graphic image in pixels. (If you don't do that, the cell size will be only the dimensions of the smaller image, and that's all you'll see.)

So the cell spec would be like this:

<TH ALIGN=center VALIGN=middle BACKGROUND="...the_youtube_image URL..." WIDTH=xxx HEIGHT=yyy>
<IMG SRC="...the_play_button_URL...">
</TH>
And for what it's worth, I just tried this out and it does work. And for the heck of it I used an animated GIF for the central (smaller) image, and it animates correctly.

Cool!

Tomorrow when I have not traveled for 10 hours I will give it a shot.

Right now it is all I can do but thank you, which I do, greatly.
