When my daughter studied in Italy in HS, we visited the Campo Fossolli near Carpi, Italy. I didn’t have any I sea that there were German camps that far south.
Campo di Fossoli was a deportation camp in Italy during World War II. It began as a prisoner of war camp, later being a Jewish concentration camp, then a police and transit camp, and finally a labour collection centre for Germany. 2844 Jews passed through this camp, 2802 having been then deported.

In what world is gassing people in a chamber, then having to laboriously remove the bodies and put them into a crematorium "faster" than shooting people at the grave edge and pushing them in?
I don't doubt the gassing happened, I just find a lot of the explanations given for it ludicrous.
I've even heard the claim that Jews were hauled for a thousand miles, using desperately needed transport resources, to "save ammunition."
The number of deniers is gaining. Soon no one will believe these stories. What hurt was the number of supposed “holocaust” victims who were NOT. This only aided the naysayers in their theory that the Jews were trying to concoct a story to gain the world’s support. To be honest, most of the so-called victims, who were not real holocaust victims were actually Germans. And, some of them, according to their ages could NOT have been victims had people looked into their “facts”.
People today are far more willing to believe concocted stories than the truth.
Media and Prof’s? I do not think so.
The Brownshirts and Bolshevics were thugs. Their job was to terrorize the public. The chaos they created ushered in a police state. The first job was to both bring the B’s under control and destroy those who could not be controlled. In Russia the Bolshevics were slaughtered. In Gernmany they were cvoopted into the police state. What followed was rigid tyranny.
Who are the street thugs in our culture? They are gangs. Imagine them turned loose to rape and plunder. A police state would soon follow.

BTW--my grandfather fought for the Confederacy and refused ever to sign the oath of allegiance to the Union. He was not a slave owner, and neither was his father. His father-in-law, my great-grandfather, was outspoken against slavery and strongly opposed to it; he considered it a sin. If my grandfather were alive today, he would be in support of secession from the Union for the same reasons he did then.
