The government requirements for qualifying for renting out a home on Section 8 are horrendous. Far, far more than the quality of the people they put in it.
I looked into it once, and I think I would pass, but not with flying colors. I never sought a Section 8 inspection.
If you do pass with flying colors are you eligible for a higher subsidy? I wasn’t clear on that.
