Been sitting here in the ATL area right between 36 - 40 degrees for 5 days with no wind and low overcast clouds with heavy fog.

Good thing we have almost no wind, no solar power for the area. Coal and nukes down here, or we would be having near-continuous blackouts here.

Solar wouldn’t have done me any good here the past few days, either. I’m going have it on the nest I build, but I will still be on-grid so I have power on dismal winter days-if/when everything goes to hell, though there won’t be any grid, so I’ll have to make sure some really big storage batteries are installed.
