Most of these automobiles are pre-OPEC...when the Big Three ruled the road. A few are fantasy and concept. Click on a picture and scroll through. Added a few to the last album. Enjoy!

Thank you. I miss the days when cars looked distinctive. Today they all look like little boxes and most run like lawnmowers.

Thanks for posting. The last few days I have been watching the Jackson-Barrett auction because nothing else was on TV worth watching.

The oldmotor.com is a great web "magazine" for fascinating old car stuff.

Be sure to look for the Roger Baillon collection of cars that will soon be auctioned in France.

A pile of true barn finds of some amazing French and other country's cars.

Every dad needs to take the kids to a local classic/muscle car cruise.

Those were the days when cars had real back seats...

Been watching Barrett Jackson all week.

Watching all the Cars our Family has owned over a Lifetime go for Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars makes me misty eyed. LOL

My 92 Year Old Father almost checked out when I told him that a restored 55 Eldorado Convertible like the one we used to own went for over $200,000.

Well, at least my Brother still has his 32 Five Window Deuce Coupe buried in his Garage.

If you knew then what you know now, sigh...

Thanks for the beautiful “ride” down memory lane... When cars were CARS! Not the flimsy, style less, cookie cutter boxes on wheels we have been stuck with for decades.

Looking at this photo, I thought, "back then, Hillary Clinton was a Goldwater Republican."

Nice, but not a single Studebaker that I could see.

People forget, they forget about the Loewy coupes, the Hawks and the Avanti. When they hear Studebaker they think of Larks and clunky looking cars that seem to be coming and going at the same time. I had a 63 GT Hawk that had an Avanti driveline when I was in high school and regularly tromped the 289 Mustangs that the other kids had.
