"Both teams played with the same ball, so what is the big deal?"

Nope. That is not how it works.

The Home team provides 24 balls the visiting team provides 12. They each play with their own except when a play involves a turnover of course. But as soon as play stops on a turnover whoever is on offense has one of their balls put into play.

Brady, “When Gronk scores – it was like his eighth touchdown of the year – he spikes the ball and he deflates the ball,” Brady said in November 2011. “I love that, because I like the deflated ball.”

The final score or how well Indy played does not matter! New England went into the game with the intention to cheat. If the game was close it could have determined the outcome. Just because you cheated when you did not have too, it doesn’t mean you are not a cheater. It does mean that you have no honor.

In other news, I heard that the Colts really suck at Nerf Football.
