For now NE by 4 PSI but might change prediction.

Injuries to Sherman and Thomas are factored in. Chancellor if 100% can take care of Gronk most of the time so dink, dunks (With a few shots down the field) and crossing routes will probably be the strategic choice for Brady. Seattle will have a tough time since they excel at north/south coverage.

I could not care less about the air pressure of balls, I doubt it would make half an iota of difference. The talking heads whining about it sicken me, “suspend Bellicheck for a whole season!!!” shut the hell up!!

Remember the Seahawks doctored the ball when Romo fumbled the snap for a potential winning FG in a playoff game years ago. Never saw a football so shiny in my life.

The proper punishment is to take away all scores from the first half when the dastardly deed was done.

With the Colts amazing come back in the second half once the correct balls were used, it's clear the Pats only won by cheating.

Agreed, but without it I got in trouble on another thread about this same topic.

The fun of being challenged about my claim about the Colts great comeback in the second half when the balls were regulation just evaporated........

Yes, DFW, I remember that game very well. It was The Tuna’s last game in DAL. It was BS then, just like this crap is now.

I’m not a big NEW fan (I’m very critical of them), but this crap is too much. I don’t mind SEA that much. (I’ve always thought Pete Carroll got screwed over by NEW), but to shut everyone up, I hope NEW blows SEA out like the 49ers or CHI did in their previous SB wins.

Enough is enough.

Sideline interview...

Erin: Thanks Tommy and we have NFL great Ray Nitschke to give his perspective on "deflate-gate".

Erin, I saw that illicit hotel shoot of yours, about 2, maybe 3, dozen times and I can't see how you have any concern about deflating ANYTHING. Did you notice the blood and it is only warm-ups for a game I'm not playing in?

Vince told us to take advantge of everything and most importantly, beat the snot of the Lions. While I agree that you are the quintessential tight-end, baby we are playing football today!

Where the hell is Karras...?

Well, big, not as much... as these--

Yet I know you'll be coming back with Green Bay's 13 NFL championships... but we're talking Super Bowl Trophy Footballs here.

Re: Where the hell is Karras...?

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Karras

On January 7, 1963, Karras's ownership in Detroit's Lindell AC Bar became a source of controversy when league officials urged him to sell his financial interests in the place because of reports of gambling and organized crime influence. After first threatening to retire rather than give it up, Karras admitted placing bets on NFL games and was suspended by the league, along with Green Bay Packers' running back Paul Hornung, for one season (1963).

During his exile, Karras returned to pro wrestling, taking on such memorable characters as Dick the Bruiser, but was then reinstated, along with Hornung, on March 16, 1964 by NFL commissioner Pete Rozelle. Upon returning to action in 1964, Karras once refused when an official asked him to call the pregame coin toss.

"I'm sorry, sir... I'm not permitted to gamble."

And from http://www.sportsonearth.com/article/39669872/former-detroit-lions-great-alex-karras-died-on-wednesday-at-age-77:

His poor eyesight forced him to wear thick glasses everywhere, except on the field. Glasses were not allowed on the field. Contact lenses had not been perfected. He played all 161 games of his career in a fog.

"He couldn't see the scoreboard, couldn't see the clock," Roger Brown, the tackle next to him, said. "He always was asking me how much time was left, how much yardage. So we were talking for the whole game. When came to the bench, he'd put on the glasses and was able to see."

Life in the fog had at least one embarrassing moment. Karras' older brother, Ted, was a guard for the Chicago Bears. Luckily, he was on the other side of the line most of the time. The guard who tried to block Karras usually was Roger Davis. In a certain game against the Bears, Karras felt Davis was holding him. Karras did not like this. He told Davis that there would be repercussions if he were held again.

Next play? Held again. Repercussions. Karras grabbed his assailant. Threw him to the ground. Stepped on him. Warned him that worse punishment would arrive with further transgressions.

"Are you nuts, Alex?" the assailant said. "I'm your brother."

Gadzooks, Clet, they just don't make 'em... like they used to, do they?

BTW this is for big... and Bart--

Some rules

Via NFL.com

Game within the Game — A two-minute warning will be added to the first and third quarters and the ball will change hands after each quarter. This will increase the opportunities for quarterbacks to direct “two-minute drills,” which are especially exciting for fans.

No Kickoffs — The coin toss will determine which team is awarded possession first. The ball will be placed on the 25-yard line at the start of each quarter and after scoring plays.

Cover Two and Press Coverage — The defense will be permitted to play “cover two” and “press” coverage. In previous years, only “man” coverage was permitted, except for goal line situations.

Stopping of the Game Clock — Beginning at the two-minute mark of every quarter, if the offense does not gain at least one yard, the clock will stop as if the play were an incomplete pass. This rule will make the team with the ball attempt to gain yardage toward the end of each quarter.

Game Timing — The game clock will start after an incomplete pass on the signal of the referee, except inside the last two minutes of the first half and the last five minutes of the second half.

Play Clock — A 35-second/25-second play clock will be adopted instead of the typical 40-second/25-second clock.

Sacks — The game clock will not stop on quarterback sacks outside of the final two minutes of the game. Currently, the game clock stops in these situations outside of two- minutes of the second and fourth quarters.

Now, y'all... play nice—

A Bear on each team, who am I supposed to root for?

I forgot the pro-bowl has this new format for picking teams. Not sure that I like it.

“I forgot the pro-bowl has this new format for picking teams. Not sure that I like it.”

I’ll summarize it in one word: GAY.
